Flambeau Uvision-Enhanced Decoys

Flambeau Uvision-Enhanced Decoys

Flambeau continues its innovation by partnering with Twilight Labs to introduce UVision-enhanced decoys. The "UV" in UVision refers to ultra-violet light. Specifically, UVision decoys have a coating that reflects light the same way real feathers do and over the entire spectrum of colors birds see. The spectrum includes UV light, which wary waterfowl can detect, although humans cannot.

//

The scientists who researched and created the coating insist we've had feather coloring wrong all along, and they're just now getting it right. Many hunting products companies believed UV light must be avoided on waterfowl decoys and other gear. In fact, the UV level must be matched just like any color that humans can see.
