In a serious deviation from the age- and weight-based approach of other dog food companies, Kent developed their entire Native Performance line to address dogs and their individual activity levels. The approach they took with the Native line focuses entirely on providing the necessary energy for top-level performance throughout all of a dog's life stages.

To ensure that their products are easy to understand and user-friendly, the Native line is available in levels 1 through 4. The first level is designed for dogs with limited exercise and physical activity, while the fourth level addresses the needs of dogs that are highly active and subject to extreme conditions. This means that hunters can measure their dogs' needs throughout the year and feed them appropriately depending on the season and energy requirements of the dogs.

In addition to the four levels of Performance Dog Foods, Kent also offers Native Level 3 Puppy, which provides developing puppies and pregnant or lactating mothers with extra energy and nutrition. Level 3 Puppy promotes easy consumption through small kibble.
