Pella Vests

Pella Vests
Transition from dowels to small retrieving dummies. Touch the dummy or lift it slightly when first transitioning from the bench to the ground.

Vests for upland bird hunting can be a double-edged sword. On the one hand they hold everything you need. On the other, everything you need packed in the average vest pulls on your shoulders, inhibits your gun mount and swing, and leaves you with that awful knot between your shoulder blades at the end of the day. You can solve all that with one of Pella's vests that employs the company's Bird 'n Lite Technology.

It's an ingenious system that employs a padded waist belt and two diagonal chest straps (in addition to the standard over-the-shoulder straps. What the diagonal chest straps do is allow you to pull the weight of a loaded vest up off your shoulders for better carrying distribution. Pella's Bird 'n Lite technology is available in a strap vest, full vest, and two coats, including one with zip-off sleeves.
