Made for the rigors of a long day in the field, the 20- or 28-gauge Franchi 48 AL long-recoil upland gun weighs about five and a half pounds for a light, easy swing. A chrome-lined barrel with a 2 3/4-inch chamber is fitted with choke tubes in improved cylinder, modified and full. The auto-loading gun is also available with a 12 1/2-inch length-of-pull short stock.
