To paraphrase Humphrey Bogart as Sam Spade in The Maltese Falcon , "They're the stuff that dreams are made of." True, that. For many of us puppies ARE the stuff of which dreams, and yes, sometimes nightmares, are made.
Puppies are cute - well, most of the time, anyway. This is by design, of course. Mother Nature, in her infinite wisdom, realized that puppies needed to be cute in order to survive...like, for example, when they pee on the brand new living room carpet, or decide to devour your best pair of hunting boots `and you don't discover this until nothing remains but the laces.
But cuteness usually wins out, as illustrated here. Once again we've assembled the "best of the best" of reader submissions , showcasing their new pride-and-joys. Check 'em out!
