Beware!!!!!! do not asume you will get your dog delivered when expected or at all. I purchased a pup from montana 8 weeks old was assured it would be deliverd at a set date never showed up so I called gave me another date and then cancelled on that day as well. When I called and confronted Chuck and Wanda they were rude un-professional. He also wanted paid in cash which tells me that he is avoiding lawfull buisness prodocal. good luck if you choose them……

  • Jessie

Here I am again, Pup has been in transport for 6 days owner sent specific food with the dog so his diet would not change and upset his digestive system. Suppose to show up today at noon. No phone call, nothing. I feel so bad for the little guy. They say they have been in buisness for 16 yrs.WOW ! Thats scary…..
Since they are a no show looks like the pup will go back to Montana, so so sad.

  • Jessie

Well they finally showed up. Again late no phone call until 5 hours later. Went to meet them in a parking lot, was suppose to be door to door but nothing is as what was told to me. When we pulled up it all fit together dirty old rig, and dirty people. Gumming her cig as we pulled up. Took the temp of the pup, he had a fever of 102.2 lungs and heart sounded ok. My worst fear came true this morning, the pup would'nt eat last night and 4am has diareahaa. I shoul'nt of excepted the pup but I felt sorry for him and did'nt want him hauling all the way back to Montana with the conditions he was kept in. My mistake. Don't make the same one.

Ive had several dogs over the years from chuck deliverd. He may not be on the date he says originally but that is due to him pickin up and deleivering dogs along the way.. he is one of the only haulers who will pick up your dog on the fly.. most haulrs have a designated route and wont ome away from it… he will meet you in the nerest big town to u usually right off the nearest highway… Hes runnin a buisness and drivin into our small towns takes time,, If the pup had parvo you know it has a 7 to 14 day gestation right

These people actually gave my dog to the wrong person! Refused to tell me where so I could fly to him. My dog showed up after 8eks to the day, 8 pounds underweight & 4 cracked teeth that were 100% healthy at vet check up 2wks before picked up (2wks late on that as well).. I've been transporting hunting dogs for well over a decade and never had an experience as bad as this. In that time Chuck answered or returned my calls twice, first time he cussed me out then hung up, second lied to me as did Wanda the one time she returned a call. When they did show up that's when thing's got worse. I don't even want to get stsated on that. It's amazing they're still in business. As unprofessional as it gets. Stay away!!!

Been using these folks for years and never had any trouble. Always satisfied with the service and the condition of the delivered dogs. They're not always on the exact schedule they want to be, but stuff happens and it's smart to stay flexible with something like this.

Red Wing Hound Haulers should be condemned! They have horrible communication, falsely advertise that they stop every six hours to let the dogs walk. Their A/C controlled hauler is nothing more than dog boxes. They put a 142 pound Saint Bernard in a box that was too small for a lab. They never turned over the leash, toys and treats that were provided for the dog on the receiving side. His records were missing and it took 13 long hot days to arrive. Now the dog is 18 lbs too skinny, starving, matted, and coughing up cedar chips because the food was left on the back of the truck and they never stopped to replenish the supply. These animals are our family and they are being treated like garbage.

Had a puppy delivered from Idaho last week…puppy is now dead. They do NOT walk the dogs or even clean the cages. Multiple calls to Chuck have gone unanswered, although prior to the trip he was available all the time. Spoke with the wife finally yesterday, still no call from Chuck. Turns out our dog had Parvo and it killed her within 3 days of delivery. When we spoke to the driver and explained that the dog died of Parvo she didn’t seem to care. AND SHE HAD A TRAILER FULL OF DOGS!!!!
