Introducing the 28-Gauge Benelli Ultra-Light

Joe Coogan of Benelli USA introduced us to the Benelli Ultra-Light in 28 gauge at SHOT Show 2012. Calling it “the best of many worlds,” the already popular Ultra-Light now offers a 28 gauge model that offers the same inertia-driven system with a brand new carbon fiber vent rib and an alloy receiver.     Who's the guilty one here, Benelli for taking advantage of a not very informed magazine, or you? I suspect Benelli, but you and several other magazines should know better. They have also claimed the 20 ga Ultra Light was new too. FYI, I hunted with a guy that used a 20 ga. Ulta Light in 2009 and a 28 ga. in 2010 and 2011. I used the 20 ga. myself in 2010 and 2011, but the 28 ga. was available in 2010 when I got the 20.
    While it is light, and a great gun, not hardly new.
